Well, Sadie finally rolled over for us!!! ...on Sunday. We tried and tried to get her to roll over on Saturday, but to no avail. Then on Sunday she just did it. We got her to do it one more time by enticing her with her bottle. :) I guess she rolled over then several times at daycare on Monday, and laying on the floor tonight she rotated herself around a complete 360 degrees on her tummy. Other than all of that excitement, we think she's definitely teething now. She is drooling more and really chewing/sucking on everything. She is laughing more and more and is really good at supporting herself in the exersaucer now without any help. She had her 4 month doctor's appointment last Tuesday, 8/29, and weighed in at a whopping 14 lbs 4.5 oz and measured 24 3/4 inches long. She's now in the 70th percentile in weight and height (she had been in the 50th percentile in weight since she was born) and the 90th percentile in head circumference (she had been in the 70th percentile previously). So she is definitely growing!
Sadie got to see all of her cousins two weekends ago. Will and Annie were married on the 26th and had a really fun wedding in Yoakum. They are absolutely perfect for each other and will be so happy together. That same morning Daniel's family surprised his grandmother with a party in Boerne for her 80th birthday. So we were fortunate to make both in one weekend and let Sadie 'play' with all her cousins.
This past weekend was Daniel's b-day...he finally caught up with me and is 29 as well! Every summer the two weeks between our birthdays there is relentless chatter from him that I'm SO old! So it's always nice when his birthday finally gets here. We had some friends over on Friday to celebrate and it was altogether another good birthday weekend. We're really going to be old next year!
